Delivery date was given on paperwork as 31/723 but the dealer said this was the laterest. He emailed me in May saying delivery would be 10/623 then in two weeks later he said the 28th of July keeps being pushed back by Peugeot. Next e mail said early August. Dealer very apologetic but not getting information from Peugeot, told me that maybe if I’d chosen a lower spec with less optional extras it may have been delivered earlier. Not really happy and it’s taking the edge off buying a new car. Should have bought from a different manufacturer. Now been promised for September registration. Great news on 6/08/23 car has been built chassis number issued. Planned In the UK on 18/08/23 dealer quoting pick it up from him second week of September 23. Apparently all factory optional extras I ordered have been fitted. Car in the UK on the 30th of August now waiting for it to be delivered to the dealer which should’ve been last week but guess what it’s not here yet still we keep hoping. Don’t think I’ll ever buy another Peugeot after this but at least not a new one, this is ridiculous.
Initial delivery period of 5 months
Nickies had opted for the Peugeot 208 on 11/03/2023. When purchasing, he was initially given a delivery date of 31/07/2023, equating to a five months delivery period.
A delivery delayed by 1 month
In Nickies's case, his Peugeot 208 was delivered with a slight one month delay, on 19/09/2023. Although rare, this delay remained within a reasonable timeframe. Peugeot still managed well.
In fact, Nickies waited 6 months
Nickies ordered their Peugeot 208 in United Kingdom 
on 11/03/2023. At the time of their order, the initially announced delivery date was 31/07/2023, which was an initial delivery time of 5 months. In the end, Nickies took possession of the vehicle on 19/09/2023, which resulted in a waiting time of 6 months.
