After my order at the end of November 2022 was aborted by Stellantis/Peugeot in May 2023, I have just placed a new order for an e-208 GT 156 hp hoping that this time this order will go through: I have been told a delivery for January, but I think it will be around March 2024

Phew, I just took possession of the car last night, after 6 and a half months of waiting, so with a delay of 2 and a half months: and, the car made a (too) long journey to come from Zaragoza in Spain to Haute-Savoie; 1 month and a half for 1000 km

The handling is particularly efficient: all roundabouts can be crossed flat and without having to lift your foot very significantly.
In terms of comfort, the driving being very easy and flexible, it is undeniable that this e-208 provides unequaled comfort: the calibration of the shock absorbers, however, requires a moderate slowdown on these sacred speed bumps which are more and more numerous
Braking is very correct with a little progressiveness
In summary it's a real kart....

November 8, 2023: order from the dealer for a 156 hp e-208 GT: delivery in January according to the seller; for me it will be early March, that would already be very good
14/11/2023 :
Following the call from the dealership before validation of the order, I add 2 additional options: the 11 kw on-board charger + the heat pump At the same time I am told another deadline, namely the end of February 2024, i.e. 3 and a half months instead of 2 and a half months 1 week ago
29/01/2024 :
I just inquired with my dealership and my salesman told me:
“Your e-208 would be scheduled for manufacturing in mid-February but you know, sometimes that can change… example for the 208 Hybrids we were 2 months late”
Finally, in summary, I can perhaps hope for delivery at the end of February/beginning of March
15/02/2024 :
After information from my dealership, they confirm to me that the e-208 is supposed to leave the factory around February 21: hence I think delivery in the first half of March
01/03/2024 :
My dealership calls me back to let me know that my e-208 GT (like all e-208 GTs) is rescheduled for early April instead of February 21, 2024
24/03/2024 :
A call to the dealership confirms manufacturing at the very beginning of April for delivery in mid-April to the dealership to which we must add a delay for preparation which will give us a possible delivery in the 2nd half of April
06/04/2024 :
Finally, it's the final stretch before delivery: since the Peugeot dealership told me that they had a chassis number, so the e-208 is leaving Spain: delivery should be in approximately 2 and a half weeks, i.e. around April 22-25 for an order initiated in mid-November, or a little more than 5 months of delay for 3 and a half months announced when ordering: phew!

Clearly, this end of order is long and difficult: after yet another telephone call with my dealership, I am told that the e-208 has not left the parking lot of the Zaragoza factory, 12 days after its manufacture: so poor organization of transport or missing component...??

This time, this e-208 GT 156 hp is really there: I have just collected it, after 6 and a half months of waiting since my order of 10/11/2023 and after a first delivery date announced for the beginning of March 2024…..so 2 and a half months late (with 1 and a half months for transport…!)
In 18 months and 2 orders for this e-208, (the first order at the end of November 2022 was aborted by Stellantis in spring 2023, for not having been able or willing (??) to produce the 156 hp e-208) I will finally be able to enjoy this electric car….

Initial delivery period of 3 months
GTI74 had opted for the Peugeot 208 on 08/11/2023. When purchasing, he was initially given a delivery date of 30/01/2024, equating to a three months delivery period.
A delivery delayed by 4 months
In GTI74's case, his Peugeot 208 was delivered with a slight four months delay, on 24/05/2024. Although rare, this delay remained within a reasonable timeframe. Peugeot still managed well.
In fact, GTI74 waited 7 months
GTI74 ordered their Peugeot 208 in France on 08/11/2023. At the time of their order, the initially announced delivery date was 30/01/2024, which was an initial delivery time of 3 months. In the end, GTI74 took possession of the vehicle on 24/05/2024, which resulted in a waiting time of 7 months.
